Achieving maximum scattering circular dichroism through the excitation of anapole states within chiral Mie nanospheres

The chirality-dependent asymmetric light-matter interaction can be enhanced using various artificial photonic structures as well engineered incident field. Compared with chiral structures, the optical field is less explored and recently recognized a new regime in tailoring interaction. In this work, we demonstrate that weakly spheres exhibit maximum scattering circular dichroism (CD) by to construct chirality-sensitive anapole states. By considering terms radiated from Mie nanospheres perturbation, multiscattering model established predict chiroptical response of these nanospheres. This provides specific guideline tailor realize upper limit achievable CD.
